Benefitting from the deep bow and thick edges of the Præstantia, the Fera is sanded deeper into the back of the blade to produce a lighter bat perfect for the quality player who bats with 2,9 or under. The finest willow, thickest edges and deep bow conspire to produce the longest driving area with the lightest physical weight. With striking new white and silver labeling, the Fera is the most powerful and sophisticated choice for a player favouring a lighter bat.  

Derived from Latin for wild beast, this is a true beast of a blade tamed by very skilful bat making. Complex sanding processes create both the profile and finish which is a reworking of the classic Venom shape, now grooved out in the base of the blade to create lightness whilst retaining power in the elongated sweetspot and substantial edges. Heavier weights will retain the triangular toe whilst lighter Feras will have wood removed at the toe, either of which can also be stipulated when ordering. Like the Præstantia, the Fera is only available in Grade One due to the intensive nature of its manufacture – we know we will not be able to make enough of these. Available in natural finish or workshop prepared.
