A very Happy Easter to you and yours, folks.

This long weekend, as you chillax and start day-dreaming about the epic moments that the 2016 cricket season will bring this year, why not have a rummage through your cricket bag and construct your pre-season cricket shopping list?

Remove the dirty socks that have been festering away in their for the last six months and have a close look at your gloves, pads, cricket bat and the rest of your core batting equipment, plus your cricket shoes and accessories.

Are your batting gloves looking a bit worse for wear? Is your cricket bat likely to last the rigours of an entire campaign? These are all decisions you need to make now. Many of us like to try to avoid buying new cricket gear mid-season if we can avoid it.

If you spot an item that could do with an upgrade, then visit Cricket Direct today. We’ve got an international collection of the world’s finest cricket bats and cricket equipment – you honestly won’t find a better choice of cricket gear online.

And we’ve been serving the cricketing community online for over two decades, so customers have been relying on us season after season to provide them with the goods so they can produce the goods on the cricket field.

For many of us UK cricketers, we’re just a few weeks away from the pre-season period, as we finely tune those batting techniques and try to recall how to bowl. It’s all getting a bit exciting.

So spend five minutes during this Easter break examining the state of your cricket equipment. If you need any help at all, you can contact us on 01727 736953 or email us at info@cricketdirect.com.

Alternatively, if you’re local to Hertfordshire, why not pop in to our shop in St Albans? Here’s how to find us.

Oh, by the way, we won’t be putting our feet up. It’s busy season for us so we’ll be serving you across the long weekend, every day from 9am to 5pm.
